MOOC on E-Yantra
MOOC on Embedded Systems and Robotics:
The course is designed to promote the study of Embedded Systems and Robotics and nurture projects in academia/industries. The registered participants can work on the course content using the hardware which is available in college e-Yantra Lab OR can continue with the Simulation option made available for the entire course and experiments..
The concepts covered are:
- Embedded C programming & Register manipulation
- Interfacing of IO devices (such as switch, sensors, buzzer, LCD, motors) & Masking
- Analog-to-Digital Conversion(ADC)
- Motion Control and Motor Interfacing
- Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)
- Interrupts and External Hardware Interrupt
This 40 Days (paid) course is open to all regardless of inclination – be it academics, startups, or working in the industry at large. We encourage interested participants to take full advantage of this course.
On successful completion of the course, participants will be eligible to win e-Yantra Certificate and even Goodies.

MOOC on Software Foundation Course (Part I):
The course is designed to spread awareness about the Linux Operating System, the exciting world of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), and to equip one to contribute to open source projects. The course content is derived from the semester-long M.Tech. Software Foundation Lab core course in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Department, IIT Bombay.
The concepts covered are:
- Introduction to Linux OS and its powerful command-line shell utilities like Bash
- SED (Stream Editor), AWK, Regular expressions
- Python Programming: Basic to Advanced
- Git – version control and advanced features
- Networking in Linux
This 6-week (paid) course is open to all regardless of inclination – be academics, startups, or working in industry at large. We encourage interested participants to take full advantage of this course.
