Design and synthesis of nanostructured hard coatings and surface engineering using DC/RF sputtering, self-lubricating protective coatings for high-temperature tribological applications, and surface modification techniques. Characterization and testing of the physical, chemical, mechanical, and tribological properties of deposited hard coatings. Expertise in nanocomposite nanomaterials, mechanical properties of nanomaterials, nanoindentation, and advanced welding technologies.
