Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM) Trust, the pioneer of education activities in the town, has achieved the Status of Sankalchand Patel University in 2016 and created a path for value based diversified education in North Gujarat region and taking it beyond.

Today, the University successfully administrates educational institutions from primary school to graduate and post graduate, with Technical, Medical, Paramedical and other Professional Courses. The University’s consistent efforts in education have earned its institutes and colleges many merits and a strong name in the education movement in India. The SPU currently operates 13 institutes in a single integrated campus, offering various courses in the faculties of Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Application and Fashion Designing Management.

We are constantly crafting and upgrading campus with state-of-art infrastructure. As a result, today, SPU is having lush green campus with all modern amenities that creates stimulated environment for the students in various faculties from undergraduate to Ph.D. programs. We are also upgrading infrastructure for the Medical college, General Hospital, Hostel building, Residential quarters for the betterment of the students and faculties.  With people’s heath cause in our mind and heart, we have established “Designated Centre to fight COVID 19 pandemic situation” within Nootan General hospital in the SPU campus. Not only that, within very short span of time, we have also established Government of Gujarat Approved and NABL & ICMR accredited molecular lab for testing COVID patients. This proved to be boon for the society at large in the whole North Gujarat Region as the people are suffering a lot due to CORONA pandemic situation. Our another pet project includes optical fibre based computer network connecting the campus with Wi-Fi connectivity. This brings in world-class learning experience for the class room and laboratory learning in various faculties that SPU runs. In addition to that recently the SPU has been allocated Super Computer from Government of Gujarat’s Science & Technology department which helps our students and faculties to carry out higher scale research.
