The Electrical Engineering department offers B. Tech programme in Electrical Engineering (EE) since 1999 and M.Tech. programme in ‘Electrical Power Systems (EPS)’ since 2009. The programmes are designed and updated keeping pace with the latest technology in industries. Department is also offering Ph.D. programme. Power system protection, Power system optimization, Power system restructuring and Flexible A.C. Transmission system and many cutting Edge Technologies are few of the important areas of emphasis for the departmental students. Our Electrical Engineering graduates have occupied positions of prominence in the Electrical Engineering field. Focusing on conveying the best education through latest infrastructure, qualified teachers, and updated curriculum, the department has all the facilities to carry out the teaching and research activates. Department has highly qualified and passionate faculty members from recognized well know institutes including NITS.
